- Can I wear glasses?
- Should I keep my head elevated?
It is very much technique dependent, usually 7 to 14 days.
You can wear them over the splint. Once that is removed, it is advisable to remove your glasses every hour to prevent them from making an indentation in the nose.Wear your lightest glasses if available. Certainly, you could use contact lenses as well.
Bending down or any position that places the head could prolong nasal edema, and is best avoided.
